Digambarkan betapa seramnya hukum Islam jika diterapkan, betapa sadisnya hukum rajam dan potong tangan dan seterusnya. Ditambah lagi dengan gerakan-gerakan bid'ah yang berjihad tanpa ilmu, yang menambah rusaknya gambaran Islam di mata awam. Yang akibatnya orang awam dan non-Islam mengira gerakan jihad identik dengan terorisme, perampokan, penjarahan, dan seterusnya. Akhirnya Islampobia menjalar di masyarakat, bahkan orang-orang yang berstatus Muslim pun takut kalau hukum Islam diterapkan di Indonesia Raya ini.
